Pastoral care

Conversation when life asks.

This is not therapy and it is not formal spiritual direction. It is a conversation with someone who has been in scripture every morning for a long time and who is willing to sit with you in the questions you are carrying.

What this is for

People who are returning to faith and want a steady voice along the way. People who are walking through a hard season and want to talk to someone who will not perform. People who are reading scripture for the first time in years or for the first time ever, and have questions that need a real person, not a search engine. People who have left a tradition and are not sure where they are landing. People who are simply tired and need a quiet conversation.

What this is not

This is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, or psychiatric care. If you are in crisis, please reach out to a licensed professional or to a crisis service in your area. Grace and Peace Studio will always direct you toward the right help when the help you need is beyond what conversation can offer.

How this happens

By phone or video call, scheduled in advance through the calendar. Sessions run about an hour. There is no fixed liturgy. The conversation is the conversation. You bring what you bring. Marc listens, offers what scripture and his own life can offer, and trusts that the Holy Spirit is doing more than either of you can see.

Pastoral care does not work on a fixed price. The conversation is the conversation. If you are in a season where you can give, you give what you are able. If you are in a season where you cannot, you do not. The work happens regardless. What matters is that the door is open.

Anyone is welcome. Cost is not a gate.

Who this serves

Anyone, anywhere. The conversation can happen across any distance. There is no requirement of denomination, prior practice, or particular belief. People of every tradition and people without a tradition are welcome.

Begin the conversation

Book a time on the calendar or send a quick email. The first conversation is held without cost. It is enough to know whether this is the kind of conversation that would help.
