This morning’s word is Ambassador.
The anchor verse is short.
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making HIS appeal through us.” 2 Corinthians 5:20
The key word is through. Not from. Not by. Through.
An ambassador does not invent the message. An ambassador carries it.
I have spent a lot of years in a posture that treats every conversation like a transaction that needs to close. Make the case. Win the room. Move the prospect. That posture has its place in some kinds of work, but it is not the posture of an ambassador.
I am learning the difference. The ambassador speaks clearly, stays available, and trusts the One who sent him to handle the response.
This matters as Grace and Peace Studio takes shape. The studio is not a platform to push from. It is a place to be sent from. When I post, write, record, or speak, the question I am carrying is one question.
Am I making HIM visible, or am I trying to prove myself?
If the answer is the first one, the day is on track. If the answer is the second one, I need to slow down before I speak again.
So today my prayer is simple, and it carries forward from yesterday.
Lord, make me YOUR ambassador today. Let my words be clear and my spirit be peaceful. Keep me from arguing what only YOU can open. Make YOUR appeal through me.
I am not here to prove myself. I am here to make HIM visible.
