This morning’s word lives in one verse.
“Here am I. Send me.” Isaiah 6:8
People love that line. They quote it like Isaiah was standing there confident, ready, eager. That is not what happened.
First Isaiah saw the Lord. High and lifted up. Then Isaiah saw himself, and what he said was not send me. What he said was, “Woe is me, for I am lost. I am a man of unclean lips.”
Then grace touched him.
And only then did the call come. And only then did the answer come.
The order matters more than the slogan does. Holiness. Honesty. Grace. Calling.
Today is Mother’s Day. The first Marc My Sabbath publishes today on this site. The week’s arc has been building toward this answer. Witness Without Striving. Visible. Governed. Speak From the Sanctuary. Wait for the Spirit. Witness From Gratitude. Six days of formation. Now the question.
GOD is not asking me to prove I am ready. HE is asking me to make myself available.
Lord, here I am. Not perfect. Not fearless. But willing. Send me where YOU want me today.
I am not here to prove myself. I am here to make HIM visible.
