This morning’s word is Visible.
JESUS said people do not light a lamp and put it under a basket. They put it on a stand so it gives light to everyone in the house.
That hit me differently today.
The question is not only, “Do I have light?”
The harder question is: Am I hiding the light GOD gave me?
Sometimes we call it wisdom. Sometimes we call it patience. Sometimes we call it humility.
But sometimes it is fear. Sometimes it is comfort. Sometimes it is old pain teaching us to stay quiet.
Light does not need to argue with darkness. It simply needs to be visible.
For me, that means living plainly into what GOD has placed in front of me. Faith, family, work, ministry, music, and helping people be seen and understood.
Not to prove myself. To make HIM visible.
That is the difference.
Today, I am asking a simple question: where have I been covering the light JESUS placed in me?
And maybe the next question is just as important: who needs encouragement from that light today?
