Gratitude is what makes a gift complete. Without it, we walk away with our healing and never speak of the One who gave it. With it, we return. We fall at HIS feet. And the One who healed us asks the question. Where are the others?
That is the discipline of the morning. To recognize what has already been given. To return for the specific thing, not just the general. To name it out loud or in writing, so that it cannot stay quiet inside us.

The same is true for you. The integrity of your private life is the foundation of whatever the world will eventually see. Not the other way around.
Do not strive after the visible. Tend the invisible. The visible takes care of itself.
And do not navigate any of this alone. Faith was never designed for solitude. Look at the people who hold you. The ones who pray for you. The ones who read scripture alongside you. The ones who write back when you send the morning word. You are not carrying this on your own.
